TTC / Public Transit Directions

There is an easy and direct route from the Bloor-Danforth subway line, and the 
Yonge-University subway line.

1. From Bloor-Danforth Subway Line (east of Yonge) – Pape Subway Station – 
 72 or 72A Bus South

   (Approx 20 minutes between buses, approx 10 minute bus ride)
   • Get off the bus at Dundas.
   • Cross at the lights to the diagonally opposite corner of the street and walk downhill to 245 Carlaw (about 1 minute).
   • Take the far right-hand door down the stairs to the basement.
   • If needed, the buzzer is to the left of the triple front doors. (Buzzer #202) It is usually needed only after 6 pm and on weekends.
2. From Yonge-University subway line – Queen Subway Station – Streetcar Eastbound
   (Approx 10 minutes between streetcars, approx 20-30 minute ride)
   Check that the streetcar goes as far as Carlaw.
   • Get off at Carlaw Ave. (there is a Shopper’s Drug Mart on the northwest corner, and a paint store on the southwest corner).
   • Cross to the diagonally opposite corner from the streetcar stop. Head north (past the Celline Garden Chinese restaurant and the River Rock Cafe). The numbers on the buildings should be increasing.
   • It’s about a 4-minute walk north to our front door – 245 (and we’ve found it quite safe to walk here after dark).
   • Take the far right-hand door down the stairs to the basement.
